Error I get:

Re: Solaris Urbino III generacji - typologia

Does anybody know if there is any information about engine and gearbox written somewhere inside Solaris Urbino 12 bus? This question is about new Vilnius CNG buses: http://phototrans.eu/2415,14587,8236.html

I thought that engine is Cummins, but in the motor section I didn't find anything, which could confirm that. In fact, there was nothing of that kind... I found only VIN code (thats nothing special) and few completely irrelevant texts (name of manufacturers of certain parts) and... this: http://i57.tinypic.com/eg2yj6.jpg - what could IVECO mean?

Facts, that are currently known:
engine - 213kW, 7800 cm3;
gearbox - Voith.
http://www.fahrzeuglisten.de/vindb/index.php decoder doesn't recognize our vehicle VINs.

Just in case, if plate can make a difference: http://i57.tinypic.com/2rnx64y.jpg

P.S. you can reply in Polish - I will understand that.

Gearbox: Voith.

Thanks :). By the way, there is no need to write to me in English - I understand everything what is written here but I can't reply in Polish. If I would - it would be terrible thing to read ;) .

It's good to see that rants are becoming more constructive discussion and finally there is clear definition, what is "trade name".
P.S. after these rules are set up, are there any ways to warn / punish certain users (about whom Amalio was complaining in most of his posts) who are not obeying rules? If such written rules existed at the moment, when I refused to remove "centroliner", I could have been punished for disobeying the rules

When there are certain written rules and someone do not obey them, he should be warned / punished. If he doesn't know that there are such rules - it's his problem.
Main goal is to write unwritten rule about trade names and their exceptions. Now websites policy towards trade names is clear to me: trade name isn't necessary ONLY when it makes no difference compared to original name.
That should have been said at the very start of this discussion under one of my photos instead of "it's unwritten rule", "we used to it" (just in style "do as I say or ...)

Update:
There are some issues with Carrus bodied vehicles: some are written as Volvo B10BLE-60 CNG/Carrus City L while others - Volvo B10BLE-60 CNG / Carrus L204L (http://phototrans.eu/2415,932,95,0,f.html)
"City L" seems to be trade name and there are no spaces before and after /. Although, L204L is also quite interesting - in body plates there is type 204L-221 (http://fotobus.msk.ru/photo/04/94/37/494370.jpg) These are the same vehicles but have different body names.

Well if exceptions list would be shorter, then I fully agree with your proposal.

Amalinium, I do not intend to make a revolution. I want to make sure that ALL of the people here know the rules - that all rules are written, not only unwritten ones which are known only to Polish community. I do understand that Polish community here is far greater than foreign but still - foreign community exists. Personally, I am not scanning comments and forums and reading all of the discussions. Neither do other foreigners. This is why we need something, which will tell us what to do and what not to do.
Also, I can't find here no requirements that "list of exceptions" must be written right now and there are no way you can postpone that (so you will need to work all week long 24/7, etc.) Firstly, add known and most obvious exceptions. Later, such list can be populated.

P.S. As Jarosz said, it would be great to see link to these rules "add/edit vehicle" form and, perhaps, in "add photo"?
